Pascal Kieber studied at the University of St. Gallen, earning both a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2007, and a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance in 2009. While working in the assurance service line of PricewaterhouseCoopers AG (PwC), Zurich he received the license as Swiss chartered public accountant (CPA) in 2012 and one year later in 2013 he received the license as Liechtenstein CPA. Pascal was responsible for the audit of financial statements of regulated funds and asset managers for private equity and hedge funds and banks. He advised on implementation of business processes, financial reporting issues and provided regulatory audit services (e.g. fund prospects, AIFM-license application etc.).
In 2014 he moved internally from the assurance to the tax and legal service line at PwC. At the same time he deepened his studies in the field of Swiss and International Tax and obtained a Master of Advanced Studies in 2016 from the University of Lausanne. As tax advisor he was specializing in the area of private wealth structures and was responsible for national and international tax consulting and tax compliance of corporates and individuals with complex income and asset structures. Furthermore, he focused on the development of robust, sustainable and efficient international tax structures, succession planning ensuring smooth transition, continuance of business and reduction of tax risks. Other focus areas were the redomiciliation and settlement of enterprises and individuals, tax reportings, handling of voluntary disclosures, mutual agreement procedures and exchange of information requests.
In 2017 he joined a reputable Trust company in Liechtenstein and worked as client advisor and focused mainly on the implementation and reorganization of private wealth structures, succession planning and asset protection solutions. In January 2020, Pascal decided to combine all his acquired knowledge and therefore joined WALL TRUST REG. where he works in the fiduciary, accounting and tax business area of the firm. He advises on issues that include financial planning and structuring of wealth, asset protection, succession planning, tax consulting and management of legal persons such as foundations or trusts. Furthermore, he deals with reviews of foundation governance issues and corresponding restructurings.
